Portal Products in Cheltenham has taken delivery of a new Computer Numerical Control (CNC) door router machine from WEEKE.

Since introducing GRP (fibreglass) composite doors to its Paladin range in May 2005, the company has seen an unprecedented response from customers, with demand for the product far outstripping all early predictions.

The new machine will give Portal the ability to prepare doors for hinges, locks and other hardware onsite, meaning better customer response times and greater flexibility in terms of design.
