Cheltenham-based PVC-U panel and Paladin composite door manufacture Portal Products has released a fleet of new vans onto the streets of the UK.

To celebrate, the company is offering a free glazed PVC-U door panel from its brand new catalogue to the person who guesses nearest to the number of door panels the largest of the new vehicles can carry in one load.

The four Mercedes vans range in size from 3.5 ton Luton Bodied to 18 ton HGV with sleeper cab, and have given the company two thirds more transportation capacity than its outgoing fleet. This is in line with customer preference for own vehicle delivery rather than third party carriers.

Haydon Statham, Portal Products sales and marketing manager, says: The ongoing success of our inverted panels and Paladin composite door range has meant we are now transporting more doors than ever before and needed extra capacity to meet the demands of our customers.

While the new vehicle fleet represents a significant investment for Portal Products, I believe it will also play an important part in allowing us to continue to deliver first class service to all our customers, now and in the future.
