Specialist door manufacturer Portal Products has added a new range of through-colour cassettes to its extensive GRP composite door collection.

The stylish new cassettes, available in white, red, blue, and green, have been launched to help fabricators and installers meet the growing demand for more superior products in terms of both aesthetics and durability.

Martin Hill, national sales manager, Portal Products said: “Portal’s new through-colour cassettes are a major advancement in door quality.

“Previously, the cassettes had to be spray-painted which was labour-intensive and time consuming. They then had to be left until the paint had hardened and if this didn’t happen there was a chance that the product could get damaged in transit.

“As the cassettes are now through-colour, the turnaround is significantly improved and what’s more, the simple snap-in grommets leave a clean site line as there is no paint build-up in the parts.”

Capable of withstanding the hardest knocks, the new cassettes are incredibly strong, giving immense resistance to everyday wear and tear and the quality of the end product is significantly improved as Portal can now ensure a perfect colour-match from slab to cassette.
